How friendly the staff is, location convenience, that it’s not just a gym, but has other programs integrating it with the community.
I’ve been working out at the Y @ GE Appliances for several years and plan to continue there. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The equipment is always clean and in good working order.
Location. Equipment. Friendly, helpful staff. My dues and donations are enriching the community, especially the kids. What’s not to like?

I like the classes, especially body pump, core and cycle. I also enjoy the pickleball open gym times
I like that it’s laid-back but still motivating. Everyone’s doing their own thing but supporting each other too.
Friendly staff! Must mention how helpful everyone is. Next, lots of exercise options. Equipment is well maintained and plentiful. I’ve never had to wait to use it. Last, I appreciate the variety of classes offered.
The workout equipment and pool
The Chestnut Y has many classes and equipment, friendly staff and clean facilities. I especially like the Monday and Thursday Yoga class, and the 4th floor equiment.
As a trans woman, it’s relaxing that I’m never looked at weird when I’m here. I can come in, do my workout and shower off, and get on with my day without anyone thinking I’m some sort of threat.

I love the women’s gym and the convenient parking garage. The front desk staff are always friendly and quick to solve any problem. The women’s locker room is always clean.
