I like yoga.
Such a variety of classes. Also i can do weight machines during the middle of the day and it isn't crowded.
The programs & activities are very good for the body.
They are very flexible with their hours and the Y will always be home to me because sense I been working out I have learn a lot about exercise and my health in which I need help with.
As a senior, I really appreciate having many opportunities to "keep moving!" There are many others in my class who evidently feel the same way & we have lots of fun, getting our exercise, with a few moans & groans, but with lots of laughs & encouragement. Our instructor, Julie, is very knowledgeable & leads us in what we need to do. And we're doing lots of moving, talking, & making good friends! All of the staff are so friendly & fun to talk to.
The Y' is a great place to go. It's clean, has a lot of equipment available, and we can tell that the staff are truly interested in us all.
My favorite class is Move Together. However, I can only go once a week because it is only offered in the evening on Monday.

I re-joined the Dickenson YMCA after belonging to another facility. I am impressed with the improvements to the equipment and the diversity of the programs.
The atmosphere, the people, the classes offered. It’s a wonderful experience to participate with new friends and work on our health together. Instructors are excellent, especially Lori !!!

I love the classes! I do wish they had some of the 9:30 classes at 8:30 instead. I enjoy -45 and Defend.
My first visit to Dickenson was great! The front staff helped me find my classes, the instructor was very inviting, and the class participants introduced themselves and welcomed me. The atmosphere as a whole was very friendly and inviting!
The personal trainers and instructors are top notch. They motivate me to meet my personal fitness goals. :-)
love early morning bootcamp class - the instructors do a great job coming up with a variety of things to do during this class. Never boring and always fun!

Please repair the fan in the spin class exercise room, it has not worked in a few weeks.
