Fitness room is large
Yoga Bob is one of my favorites. He knows his yoga like the back of his hand and is quietly helpful and gentle. His classes are great; yet you really get a workout!
Overall, the YMCA is a great place to be. There's lots of camaraderie and lots of friendships and relationships that are have been built. The only knock against the YMCA and not just specifically to the Lyons branch is that they are old. They are dated. Compared to newer facilities, they're just a little behind in the times. Lyons as well as Claremont and otherwise that have the potential to expand. Should seriously consider doing that in order to keep up with the demand.

The Y is a lively place, seeming to have something for everyone throughout the day and week. The staff is upbeat...and it seems that most patrons are too.
