Variety
Plenty of Pilates and yoga classes. Large indoor and outdoor pools
Outdoor and indoor pool. Plus you have the cycling machine that has air being blown on you when you're on it. I love that. Some of the other YMCA's don't have that. Plus it also has a picture of where you're going like a national park. Blue Ash doesn't have that. Plus you're closer to where I live.

But we were confused with all the lap lanes as to how to spend any time in that area to just tread water. People were swimming, maybe only have 4/5 lap lanes in peak times? Life guards said we could hang out there but people were telling us they were using the lane
We like the heated pool and the exercise classes for all ages!
Love everything about the Y except the locker room. The restrooms need updating and better cleaning

Have only been a member for a week so far. And have only utilized the pool. Very happy with that.

Outdoor lap pool
I only use the indoor and outdoor pools. I swim laps. Pools are kept in great shape. Lifeguards are well-trained and nice young men and women.
Excellent pickleball courts. Groups that play are comprised of nice people who just want to have fun…..no super competitive people.
Bridgett runs our Y branch and she does a terrific job.
We like the indoor pool, but need more lane lines removed for family swim. Gets crowded while the lap lanes only have 1-2 people in them. Outdoor pool gets too crowded, especially when parents and kids throw balls. Same issue--too many people in small area, too many lap lanes not being used.

It is easy to reserve a spot for water aerobics or land classes

We have done the bootcamp swim lessons the last two years. Unfortunately our child has been sick the week we signed up. However, generally have found the instructors to be skilled and welcoming and the process of check in and check out smooth for our childcare provider. We noticed last year they clearly advanced in their skills during the weeks.
Ease of use.
I am grateful for Laura’s spin class! She acknowledges each rider as they enter the room and congratulates each individual at the end of class with a high five. Her kindness and positivity are much appreciated, and reflect the character of the YMCA week after week.
