I have just recently joined the YMCA, so I have only used the pools, and have enjoyed them. I had 2 children with me and everyone was very helpful with life jackets and getting pool toys.

I like the fact that I can come into the YMCA almost anytime I need to exercise. It would be nice if I knew how to work more of the machines to get a better workout. Also, I did not know that there was a downstair area or that you have snack machines (not that I need them but there is so much that I don't know about here).
Silver Sneakers class. Please change the start time to 8:30. The current 8 AM start is too early. The next class doesn’t start until 9:30.

I love the group classes. I just joined yesterday and have done 2 classes so far. Both have been great! The instructors were helpful and energetic! And kids club for my 9 month old son is great! He’s done fantastic both times and all the ladies there seem to be very sweet.
I would like more adult sized basketballs to be in the gym, also the few that are there are normally flat with only a few good ones.
I have enjoyed working on the machines to continue my cardio rehab. Often I have to wait for one of the two NuStep recumbent elliptical machines, since they are popular and people use them for thirty minutes or more. Other machines usually have a shorter wait.
Staff is friendly

Today was my first Water Fit class at the Lyons YMCA and it was wonderful. Instructor had lots of personality, good music and kept me smiling the entire class. I have now signed up for both the 9:10 class and the 10:00 class Wednesday and Thursday. Love that the classes are offered 5 days a week. Great exercise and major mood elevator!

Your deep water and shallow water aerobics classes, 9AM, five days a week, sometimes ten a m on some days also, are very valuable to your senior population. Arthritic joints get exercised through the entire range of motion without any impact when done in deep water. This is very, very beneficial for arthritic joints. Greatly appreciated by many of us. Please continue the number and frequency of deep water aerobics as the value for health reasons is tremendous. ME Lyons y m c a is the only y m c a I could find in the entire greater cincinnati area that offers steady classes of deep water aerobics every week. Thank you.
