There’s a good mix of programs with excellent instructors.
Just like it
I love the saline pool and conscientious lifeguards, as well as pristine locker room area.
Thank you!
Nice facility. Friendly Staff. Downtown location. Towel service.
Truthfully, would like to see later hours on Saturday and Sunday.
Triple Threat on Monday and Wednesday. Would love this class to be for 3 days at noon.
I mainly just use the weight training area. It is very clean and great equipment
Everything is great
I like that there are many opportunities for classes though my experience with the yoga classes has not been good. I understand that the instructor ( i.e. 11:00 AM classes ) had several serious issues to juggle and could not maintain the schedule. It was difficult to arrange for fill in instructors...though I am not sure why. Even so, the facility is great and offers me what I need.
PS: Lights in the woman's sauna are definitely needed since climbing to the upper level is often needed and stumbles would be serious.
I love the classes, the instructors are great and really keep me motivated during my workout.
Good
they fun
I love my Tai Chi class & everyone is so welcoming.
The salt water pool was VERY NICE..
A great range of activities and classes, plus the pool. Central Parkway YMCA is just great!
I like the weight room, group fitness classes and movestrong
I like using the weights for training and I ADORE the Silver Sneakers class. The atmosphere is friendly, yet the workout is serious. I enjoy seeing the teacher and participants and I benefit from the movement and strength developed there. Silver Sneakers is contributing to my well being!
Consistent schedule
I love the Silver Sneaker exercise classes. John is great. He makes the class a lot of fun.
Cleanliness. Never too crowded
So many options and great times offered
Renovations
Classes, amenities
Nicest gym I’ve been in
Love the friendly atmosphere and the diversity of programming you offer. The place is always so clean.
Pool.
I like all the programs, flexible hours and schedule. The group welcome new faces.
I know there are many programs for those looking for them. I prefer the cardio area.
Spin class is an end in itself but also a means to an end. After cycle class Tuesday night many in class met at Queen City Radio Lounge to talk about cycling trips, bicycles, books, movies, neighborhoods, our jobs, our families. Yes, and to rehydrate!! Many former spinning students showed up also - the third Tuesday of the month has been circled on our calendars! Exercising and socializing make for s great combination.

Received a warm welcome to staff members and later from two guests/participants
