I found the shop friendly and quick. They were happy to help someone who was buying a bike for the first time in a very long time(!) and they were keen to understand my requirements without patronising me. I could definitely have put off my purchase but I am pleased that I didn’t! I also feel comfortable that I can come back to the shop if I have any problems with my bike as I am getting used to it.
Phew! What a relief to have my bike problem solved in minutes by a friendly, competent, experienced service team. Coffee and biking advice generously thrown in too. Really could have spend the day there ogling that comprehensive bike collection - know where my next bike will be bought. Thank you Pearsons

Your service and advice yesterday was exemplary, as was your immediate attention to fitting my various purchases. A) really good first impressions when ringing up with initial query about brakes servicing. Staff member took great deal of care and time to explain matters to me even though it was clear that fixing the problem was not going to be a great money-spinner for Pearson! Clear they had customer satisfaction at heart and also were simply keen to get a cyclist back on the road.
B) really good service on the ground. Wilf had a lot of work on already by the time I arrived on Saturday morning. He said he’d do his best to sort my bike on the day but couldn’t guarantee it. I said that it would be fine for me to collect the following day - giving him a free pass, as it were. But by 4.30 the text arrived. Bike done! Great attitude.
Pearson’s service is second to none. Love the place. Always helpful and so knowledgable. Give great advice. Proper family business.
