What I like the most is the weight lifting room and the stationary bikes that has helped me tremendously in having stronger legs and improving my respiratory health! Just feeling a greater sense of wellness! The friendly, helpful staff at North River Y is a great plus, as well.

I love the pool classes. Have been coming now for several years. I also use the gym on occasion.
The child care facilities are great. My daughter loves playing in the indoor playground while I get some time to workout. The staff is always nice and very helpful.

The facilities down town are very nice. The women's locker room provides towels and plenty of space to change after a workout, which is very convenient. The studio on the second floor provides a great space to do floor exercises so I don't feel cramped or in the way trying to do routines that don't include machines. There are many amenities that give people a chance to live a healthy lifestyle that doesn't include weights: the basketball courts, and racquetball courts are very nice, the pools are fantastic.
The Y overall is a great program and resource for the community. The childcare program is amazing full of staff that cares. It's a great place for our whole family to go and break away from our busy lives.
Zumba class Inclusive AND INVITING for my daughter with special needs (Down syndrome). She been consistently participating for 4 years.

The Y is the very best option for all ages. I particularly enjoy the swimming pool and love to swim laps at least 2-3 days a week. Being in my 70's, it is the most non-invasive exercise regime that I can participate in regularly.
When my grandson visits from East Tennessee up in the Maryville & Alcoa area, we make wonderful memories together at the Y together as well. He gives is a 1000 on a scale of 1-10 every time!

Both pools, gym with phone apps for strength training. It's nice that you allow food in outdoor pool area. I'd like to learn moor about activities for seniors, I'm still new and don't know what some of the activities are.
