The social aspect.
I like that there are enough cardio machines that I never have to wait for the one I want. I also like that there are free weights in various locations so I don't necessarily have to do my lifting in the same big area with all the big muscly dudes (no shade to them but yikes). It's always clean, and everything is always in good shape.
One thing, though, is that the splash pad is a big attraction of the Y, especially in the winter when the dome is up and we need to get energy out of little ones. But it's never running! That's a huge frustration. Also, and this isn't the Y's fault but the state's fault, it's frustrating that the stay and play still requires masks on small children. It's been a hindrance to my ability to come in and exercise during the daytime.
I have been a member ever since the Y bought the club. The managemental and the employees are pleasant and easy to deal with.

I like the classes and virtual options especially during the pandemic. It’s a nice option if you have to stay home. I also like the complimentary coffee or snacks on certain days. The parents night out and family swim time is wonderful, as well.
The pool has a large amount of lap lanes, the gym has extensive equipment so in both situations, I don't have to wait. I am always greeted when I come in and leave. The facility is alway clean including the locker rooms

Great pool! Swimming is my exercise of choice while my husband prefers weights and cardio machines. Our Y membership accommodates both of us.
It's a very nice facility. They offer so nany ways to exercise and enjoy yourself. And the staff is very friendly. I'm so thankful to have the Pasadena Y so close to my home!
I like the variety of classes offered and the variety of machines. It is always clean and I find the staff to be friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and it is a comfortable place to exercise for all different skill levels.
