Feels like community. Everyone is familiar with one another, but no one bothers you during your workout. Staff always has a friendly greeting, and its a great mix of younger and older people.

The value of the membership! It's an enormous amount of activities, classes, open gym, pool, etc. for the monthly fee. And the September "no activation fee" promo is what got me to finally join after waiting a few months. Also, the lobby staff is very friendly.

I shied away from the Y for years because of cost. As I’ve become more active and had to pay for individual classes, I get more value from my Y membership due to the variety of classes available that interest me.

This past Saturday, September 26, 2026 there were a group of organizations at the Weinberg YMCA educating the members of various programs and events that they could participate in and invite others (non members) to utilize. I found this to be an AWESOME event and I was happy to see the YMCA share and encourage community growth.
