Personal trainer Lucia is innovative and motivating
I like exercising in the exercise equipment room. I come 3 to 4 times a week. I like that the "Y" is keeping with taking care about the suggestions of protection for the virus. I do want to get involved more with classes - dance and yoga. Also intend to do laps in the pool. Would like to get someone to refresh my learning the correct strokes when swimming. Do you have an adult swimming instructor in the Towson, MD. "Y"? Would like information on Volunteering positions that I could do one day a week since I come up every day. I could stay for 1 or 2 hours to help with any kind of office type job. Name removed.

I love how the Y has different classes to choose from. The Y is close to where I live, the facility is clean, and in great condition. I always feel good after I attend a class at the Y.
The effort it's taken for the Y to get back to a semblance of normality, the breadth of classes offered, and the responsiveness of staff to concerns of mine.
I am so grateful for the all the Outdoor group classes. The teachers are all really effective and fun. The pavilion and sound set up works really well. I love being outside.
I love your outdoor classes and timely text alerts if the class is cancelled. You also listen to the members about their time preference for classes. Most of all, I truly appreciate your help in the community.
They're very covid safe. Like the fact that they're limiting the amount of people in the building at one time it's all done very friendly and nice. The staff is incredibly Pleasant

In a pandemic, it is life-affirming to be able to see other people, say hello, enjoy dancing to music and chatting, masked and six feet apart, as we return to our cars. This has kept me sane, and I am so grateful to the Y and my fabulous instructors for providing me with a slice of humanity during this difficult time.
I love being able to use the pool safely during the pandemic, both for swimming laps and for getting my kids a chance to get in the water and play in the family pool. The weekday morning pool staff in particular is fantastic. The are friendly, efficient, and take the time to get to know the members who come regularly.
I have also really liked being able to reserve a lane for a specific time, rather than getting there and having to wait around for a lane (as we did pre-pandemic). I hope that you will consider keeping the lane reservation system even after life returns to “normal,” at least for the high traffic times of day.
I feel welcomed whenever I go to the Y. I feel like the folks there (staff and members) all get that we are a big community of all different people with different stories, at varying places in life, and that we are all committed to creating a cohesive community that can respect each other, get along and make a difference within and outside the boundaries of ourselves.

The Y goes the extra mile to keep the Y safe from COVID 19 and protect it members. They work hard to keep exercise classes available to the members, in a safe and efficient manner. I am proud to be a Y member.

Swimming at the Y in the mornings has been a much needed slice of "normal" in this challenging time. Kudos to Amanda and the rest of the staff who make those early morning swims possible!

I have not once run into a grumpy employee.
It's important to be able to have a lane to myself as I strengthen my reinjured rotator cuff. I appreciate the chance to swim without having to avoid another swimmer.
