Instructors for the swim classes are excellent. Have been with Jessica and her water classes for a long time, she gives us a really good workout with out the pressure on our joints.
Only comment I have pertains to the effort to get folks to wipe down machined after use. I am seeing many users ignore that effort. Should the trainers enforce it? Should there be better signage? I happened to comment to a person who never wipes down and for my effort got a very smart-mouth reply. The trainers could enforce the rule just like they enforce mask wearing.

The Towson Y is staffed by upbeat, friendly and competent staff. It's clean and the equipment is well-maintained. Help is readily available and my personal trainier, Karen Wilhour,is superb.
My experience at the Towson Y has been great. We all workout and encourage each other along with good conversations on current news events.

The facility is clean. The procedures make sense. The greeter at the front desk is always very friendly. Miss Amanda in the pool is absolutely the best.
I have been scheduling lap swimming at this Y for the last two weeks after swimming exclusively at Parkville since last fall. Having two pools to choose from provides more opportunities for scheduling my workshouts within my work day(s).I am so grateful to the Y staff for exercising COVID protocols, keeping us all safe, and making it possible to continue swimming! Staff is friendly, kind, supportive, consistent, reliable!

The warmth and personal nature of the staff, the creativity involved with keeping people safe during Covid— especially outdoor classes! The help we can get whenever we need it from the fitness coaches in the weight room. The team of personal trainers. The good work we know the Y does all the time for those who are not necessarily members— child care for children of first responders, school help for kids doing school from home, food drives, blood drives, etc.

My daughter is part of the learning center and absolutely loves it. She gets to be active and social with other kids her age. I get to work it while she is there. Win win!
Lucia is an outstanding instructor. I have taken a fee of her classes and find her to be very informative, helpful, friendly and attentive. I also like the family swim and Barb’s yoga class.
The place is well disinfected after it is being used either at the pool or the workout area.
