I swim at the Orokawa Y twice per week and have found it to be a pleasant and valuable experience. The staff does a good job cleaning and maintaining order. The staff person at the door is always friendly and helpful. the patrons are also friendly. An overall good experience.
I love that the Y is a community based non-profit organization and family friendly environment. I enjoy all the amenities the Y has to offer, from the facility equipment, classes, pools, rock climbing, family events, community programs, PNO, camps and friendly & knowledgable staff. There’s something for everyone!

The staff at the Orokawa Y is kind and welcoming. They are ready to lend a hand when needed. The instructors are pleasant, know how to differentiate activities to meet the participants needs, and are energizing.
It’s definitely a family atmosphere. Always someone to help you. Each time you come you improve your health. Just do it!!!

Very friendly service. Spacious. I like that the staff wear masks. I joined primarily for access to the pool to train for a sprint marathon. It's very welcoming there.

everyone on the staff is helpful and friendly. I most often use the pools. the pool area is always clean and inviting. The lifeguards are always alert and they get to know you. I like being greeted each morning! Other members are also friendly and it's fun to see people and make friends with them. THe dressing rooms are also clean and Frank and his staff work hard to keep up with needed repairs. The gym is always clean and the equipment kept up as well as possible. the staff is helpful and teaches you the right way to use the equipment. They are always ready to answer questions. I have taken small group training and those classes were great! There is a wide variety of classes and I've taken many of them.I been coming to the Orakawa YMCA for years and its always improving. My grandchild went to the summer camp and had tons of fun while being monitored and kept safe. As with everything at the Y the cost of camp was affordable!
The affordability of the YMCA deserves a shout out! It is one of the best deals out there.
