I LOVE the people, both instructors and members. LOVE Body Sculpt class. I am NOT happy about the shortened classes—from an hr to 45 mins. No explanation given except “organization-wide change” and “we’re encouraging people to take more classes.” All very well if you have all day, but for a lot of us w busy schedules who can barely fit in an hour, the change just means we are getting 15 mins less exercise. I haven’t talked to anyone, instructors or members, who likes the change. I would have thought you might do a survey of members before making such a switch. Not too late to do so!
I love the group exercises and find the instructors to be excellent!
Annabel, my yoga trainer is outstanding with her attention to detail and teaching skills. Also, the Y promotes a vibrant sense of community with members of all ages.
