Great environment. Wonderful staff. Equipment is well maintained. If we had more time, we would utilize more that the YMCA has to offer.

What do you like about your Y experience?

I like the Y in Ellicott City. I just moved from Quest. I am very active and love the classes but I would like to see more general weight lifting with good stretching for 5 min at the end or active pilyo in the morning around 8 or so. Most classes begin at 9 and are mostly very heavy cardio.

Good Yoga classes, but need more. They were cut back from last year, and the number should be reinstated.

I love my instructor for aqua arthritis and water fitness. Pam schuckman is knowledgeable, keeps the classes lively, and she is loud enough so that all can hear.

Excellent facility! Friendly, available & helpful staff, ready to help you! Wonderful vibe, excellent array of classes with respect to types of classes, times of classes. Very clean, welcoming and superb environment . . . also reasonable membership fee! All of these things make a big difference!

It offers an affordable place for me and the family to work out. The associates are always welcoming and helpful. They do a great job keeping the place clean and in good working order. It's also super convenient for me.
