A staff member always greets me upon arrival & departure. The facility is clean. My personal trainer is very patient with me. She explains why certain exercises are needed & why one must consider the total body to perform activities.
The only program that I use at the Y is swimming laps. I am 85 years old and I am unhappy if my time doesn't permit me to swim at least twice and preferably 3 times a week. II can generally swim for an hour; but if my body objects, I manage 45 or 50 minutes. It is my relaxation, my physical exercise and my mental health time - to just be in the water, swim & relax and just think about what I want to or to think about nothing! No telephone ringing - calls that usually are about nothing important to me - mostly solicitation calls.
The Y folks are friendly, always willing to answer questions or find an answer. The changing rooms and shower rooms are always clean. I was unhappy during the summer when Dancel did not have p.m. swim hours due to lifeguard shortage.
The Professional Friendly Staff! Especially appreciate welcoming helpful personalities of Dondra, Kevin and Ric. Charlie runs a very instructive pickle ball program. I have enjoyed aqua zoom with Samantha! All of the above keeps me coming back and keeps me healthy and fit! Thanks Y👍😀!
I enjoy the Aqua Aerobics class. The instructor Kelly is absolutely phenomenal!!! Everyone greets you upon entering the Y.

The basketball coach on Wednesdays has been absolutely phenomenal with managing and coaching the kids!!
I attended 2 group exercise classes in person for the first time in 18 months. One instructor was new to me, but very good. The other has maintained her enthusiasm and makes everyone feel welcome still, even after teaching through the pandemic fluctuations.
