There are a couple thing I have noticed. Sometimes in the sauna is people stretching out and exercising. The other is the use of cell phones on the equipment. Both of these are very inconsiderate, especially when asked to work in or to make room.
I value the camaraderie among my classmates in the pool.
I do, however, wish that there would be closer monitoring of the lockers in the women's area. Often lately and getting worse: I find a single shampoo bottle, or a left over piece of clothing, like someone is "saving" their locker- not good when swim folks need a place and a locker.....
Great equipment, wonderful staff and activity to please everyone.

The Dancel Center Y has great Aqua Zumba and Aqua fitness instructors. They are knowledgeable and very pleasant. The Dancel Center is always clean and in good nic.
Other than occasional plumbing problems, the pools at the Y are in good shape and dependable.

Group classes are great
I have been a member of the Y for years but only used it sporadically, due to work and the distance from my home. Then in July 2021. I retired and a friend said you should come to Cardio Dance with Janet. Wow!! Janet's class is so much fun and I have met so many Wonderful people! For a year now, I have been dancing in the mornings at least 4 days a week. It has helped me so much with my transition from work to retirement while I'm still in the process of trying to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life. I'll get there eventually, in the meanwhile I'll continue to dance and hopefully take some other classes at the Y along the way.
