We also enjoy Parents' Night Out! Typically, slots fill up quickly for PNO and I was able to still drop her off on the wait list since there are always no-calls, no-shows on the registered list. However, this past Saturday we were told the policy changed and we were turned away (my daughter was extremely disappointed). There should be a way to penalize/prevent parents from registering, then not canceling and not showing up. This is also an issue with the free youth classes. I'd be fine with paying a registration fee for PNO to help prevent people from registering, then not showing up.

I've visited many Y's in the Maryland area but the Dancel Y is by far my favorite. Why? The staff are absolutely wonderful and the sense of community here is unmatched. It's not just a gym, but also a place to connect with neighbors and meet new people. I can't say enough good things about this place. Thank You!!

But the men’s bathroom beds more attention. Toilet the hair around the shower drain.
I want to personally thank Karen at the front desk. I was in the process of moving memberships from my previous YMCA and she could not have been more helpful and kind. Every day on top of that she greets everyone with a smile and it goes a long way. The gym itself is great with very nice amenities. I love the fact there are two basketball courts.

Great value for the services offered. We utilize the fitness center, stay and play, swim lessons, swim team, y camps, and schools out fun days.
The value is incredible for the services that are offered.
My one complaint is that the swim teacher that we have is not good. He frequently calls out sick, and when he is there he looks like he can’t stand to be. He does not engage with the children and yawns the entire time. It does not seem like anything is being done about his attendance issues.
