There is something for everyone in my family
The facility is clean and well managed and assistance is available when needed. Equipment/variety is great. I noticed what appeared to be a "patient" getting excercise/therapy in the middle if the gym. I felt it may have been more comfortable for him in a more "private" setting. Again this was an observation on my part.

I absolutely loved the Holiday Breakfast at the Ward Y. My granddaughter, daughter in law and I enjoyed making crafts and visiting Mr and Mrs Santa Claus.

love the after care program, that child care is offered while you work out, pool is nice. I would like to see the y offer some more programs for young kids in Abingdon like karate. Love that membership is given when signed up for fulltime before or after care. Also that discounts are given for camps. makes is convenient for working parents.

It was a very inclusive space with variety of equipment and facilities that allowed my mother, my child and myself to thrive. My son spent summer school there and learned how to swim there. My mother spent most of her day at the Y in Abingdon, and came home daily with stories of appreciation for all that worked there.
I like the diversity of the people who use the Y - old, young, fit, not so fit, black, white, quiet, loud, shy...

The staff is very knowledgeable and professional. Y is constantly trying to bring in new machines and upgrade their systems.
My baby loves Stay and Play. My 12 y/o had fun on the middle School nights. The cardio dance class is amazing and our whole family likes the pool. The flexible hours make it possible for my husband to use the gym even after a long commute back from work.
