I have been a member for over a decade. My wife and I love the YMCA for three reasons. A warm and family feeling when we come to Y. Trainers with expertise in equipment and physical roadmap are always ready to help customers like us is the second reason. Final reason is the senior facilities and activities helping them in health improvement and management of their health. I would recommend Y to anyone wholeheartedly

We have been members for years now. We visit every weekday.
Recently, new equipment was installed in the gym. I use stationary bike MWF. Pool on T and T.
No one can answer my simple questions about the new bikes.
Like can they connect to the internet. Clearly they can. b/c they have netflix and YouTube.
But it's a mystery to the gym staff.
They are totally NOT user-friendly.
Very disappointed. Usually the Y is so helpful.

I like the Poole area, but it’s to cold to get in the Poole, so I enjoy the classes.

The equipment is very nice, the facility is clean, the hours are very good and the staff is friendly. The cost is very reasonable and the company is committed to diversity which is a huge positive.
I have been very impressed with the efficiency of the management and cleanliness of the
facilities. I only use the pool and locker room. The water exercise classes are good. My
arthritis is better when I exercise on my own time. Great pool.
