What do you like about your Y experience?

I love that I’m able to just show up to any group exercise class, or if I’m not feeling that I can hop onto a machine for a while. It’s not usually over-crowded so I’ve never had to wait for a machine. I also feel very comfortable working out to my best ability, without feeling judged or compared to other members. I’ve never regretted a visit to the Y!

What do you like about your Y experience?

Coach Jordan does a wonderful job with the kids. My son is interested in team sports for the first time, and Coach Jordan has done a lot to make him feel comfortable. These extension activities with the Betty Sterner Center are awesome!

I love the Y's mission to serve the community. The best part of my Y experience, though, is the Catonsville staff. Della is ALWAYS there to greet me with a smile and a hug - makes my day. My personal trainer, Karl, is AMAZING. From his creativity in keeping me engaged in exercise to his phenomenal people skills encouraging me to achieve more to his patience as I try to learn - Karl is simply incredible.

What do you like about your Y experience?

The instructor, Christine, and her assistant, Rachel, have been terrific. They have been kind and patient, supporting all of us as we have worked through the anxieties that have prevented us from learning how to swim until now. I have only praise for them - thank you!

On a side note - pool is really cold. If that could be addressed, the experience would be a ‘10’.

Friendly staff, good classes. Just wish African Dance on Monday nights was still going! We went last week and found out it'd been canceled.

I have been a member for approximately 4.5 yrs and love it. I have met friends that have become family. The staff is always kind and a pleasure to know. Always helpful and pleasant.

I like that my son can attend a class while enrolled in after care. It helps to alleviate evening activities and reorganizing our family routine.
