I went in, the girl cutting my sons hair looked about 18. She first of all had zero personality and looked super unhappy to be there. She was like a zombie. I took the initiative to tell her what we usually get, but seeing the disappointment on my son's face, I quickly chose a photo and showed her (it's a typical men's haircut, no need for clippers).

She grabbed the clippers and buzzed all the way to the crown. My jaw dropped. She continued around his head. I tried to stop her politely but kind of loudly, and she ignored me. I finally got up and said it louder and more curt and she stopped. I told her just stop. She then reached for what was left on top and I told her no, its okay, please dont. And she said "I was just going to trim off the dead ends" and i had to repeat myself. She then took forever cleaning up the back (which I really didn't want her to do, I just wanted to leave).

There was an older woman working with her who I assumed was the manager. She came to the register to check someone out (who's hair she also LITERALLY BUTCHERED - it looked like a 6 year old had taken scissors to it on top). I said excuse me a handful of times as she purposely ignored me and walked away. I was just trying to pay so I could take my son out of there.

Finally the girl finishes. She asked if I liked it and I looked down and didnt answer. I gave her a $1 tip and she handed us a coupon book. She's lucky she got the $1 tip and that we even paid!!!! I will never ever everrrrr come back to a sports clips EVERRRRR. My poor 16 y/o son is starting a new school in a new town with an awful haircut. I feel so bad for him. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves for hiring people like that!!

This was the sports clips on mchenry in modesto, ca around 6 or 7p on 2.26.20 I think.

The past two times the hairdressers are not taking the people in the right sequence. I was over looked two times in a row which ends up being another 15-20 minute wait.

Recently had my haircut done by Yessenia and I loved my new haircut. Will be going back to have her cut it again.

First time there and really like my hair the way it was styled. I am going back when time to get my hair done again. Service was very friendly and everyone very nice. Professional stylist first and foremost. Very impressed. I have been telling people of great experience had there and recommend it. Christina did my hair hope to have do my hair next time also. Also impressed at how clean of salon it is.

I personally use the Tea Tree Shampoo, it is top quality and leaves you feeling fresh.

Yesenia is a great stylist that understands what customer service is all about and takes pride in her work.

Idk everytime I went, I've been nicked from the clippers 3 different times, my fade was always still to long rather than short, my hair is not even equal. Now i have to literally shave off this hairstyle and start over. Thanks

I have curly hair I just wish they took a bit more time to cut my hair evenly I always have to cut long pieces afterward but the staff is very friendly and I love the place
