I only use the pool. The lifeguards are good, pool is maintained very well and I enjoy lap swimming. Staff at front desk always greet me and so I feel welcomed.

I was very happy with the gentle yoga option until things started with your management and Cindy. First it was her going on vacation and getting a sub and then it was the issue with her wanting to do Zumba. She has a very strong following but it appeared not to matter. I am leaving the Y and following her. She has created a real culture. Many people can't follow her because their insurance pays for their membership.
Your facility is great.

Adult exercise classes are the best. Melodye and Tina are terrific.

YMCA in Canton is a great center, we enjoy several of the classes.

The Canton Y is an attractive, functional and clean facility. Staff are reasonably helpful and considerate.
The Y administration should work hard to contract their memberships through the larger Medicare programs. The y’s primary purpose is health & wellness and so is United Healthcare and Humana. You serve a huge number of seniors due to need and the demographics in Canton. Also, this particular Y is a semi-public facility unlike most Y’s due to its tax funding history. Canton residents, more than teachers, should be given a membership break!
By the way, I’m not a Canton resident but they should be given some serious consideration for fairness sake. Dr. Norman Merrifield
Lots of classes, pool, hottub.
Friendly Staff. Convenient location. I use the indoor pool twice per week. And when the Lazy River is open I use it in the suimmer. Very nice & convenient to me-I live 5 miles away. Glad that there is always at least 1 lifeguard on duty at all times. Been a member for 5 years.
You can tailor your visits to a multitude of possibilities and most have different levels of activity, levels for age, ability, recuperating from injury/illness, or someone who has not been active in a while, or even beginners. You develop a friendship with your common acquaintances, which makes all the activities more enjoyable. The instructors are qualified and make the activities even more enjoyable, some extremely good teachers there are!!
I like that group exercise classes are offered in the evening.

I really enjoy the water aerobic classes! Melodye is fantastic, always adding new things and keeps it fun.
I wish the outside pools were open during the week at least until Labor Day, there are many of us who could continue using when school goes back in.
The facility is conveniently located and accessible, well maintained, and offers a variety of programs for various levels of participation. The instructors are friendly, professional and provide instructions for the programs. They bring energy and encouragement to their classes.
The pricing is competitively priced for families and students. Scheduling classes is easy with the app.
The instructors and teachers are Gold standard in what they do!!
