Great, caring instructors for the Senior Conditioning classes at 11:30 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
This is my second time to write a complaint about the Zumba class that meets just before us on those days . They NEVER end on time- often going over 10 minutes. That leaves us Seniors a mere 5 minutes to get ready!
Please remind ALL instructors to be aware of ending times. Help !!!
Classes are not too crowded. I like signing up ahead so I know there is a spot for me when I get to the Y..
There are so many activities to choose from. The staff is very informative about what is offered to members. So very happy I am now a member of the Canton YMCA. The location is close to home so that is a big plus.
I love the Y! It was a very important place to my mother, who recently and tragically passed away in a car accident back in August of this year, and the members of the Y and the staff have been a huge support system to me and my family, to the point that it encouraged my Dad to start coming, who is almost 80 years old and would never come before. It is essential to both of our physical and our emotional health.

Large variety of activities compared to other facilities.
I can tell you what I don’t like easier. I don’t like when the instructors start think we they are staff reagents and want to treat us like kids. Example 2 or 3 of the students are talking too much so they decide the whole class must do a hard excersise. I understand that they do recruits in the marines this way but they are by paid to be there and are mostly young punks. We pay to come there and are mostly senior citizens and should be respected as such. If they are having problems with certain people they need to work it out with those people. I love the Y. And most of the people.Will always recommend it

Awesome about caring for and about each person who comes to the ‘Y’. The instructors are very knowledgeable about anatomy of the body as seen via instruction in class and excellent modeling of correct and efficient exercise according to age and capability.
I enjoy the exercise classes and working out on the weight lifting machines.
Just recently signed up at the YMCA due to my United healthcare. I’ve been using the swimming pool. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful signing me up and then helping me with what I needed to do would recommend it to anyone very clean.

Everything is good, we have my family and I a lot of choices.
Since we live a little further from this facilty I like that I can access various exercise programs in online videos.
I enjoy the indoor walking track at this Y since walking is my favored daily activity.

I have a choice about where to work out. The Canton YMCA is by far the best facility in the area. Teachers and coaches are very experienced and care about their clients. There is always something on the schedule that interests me. I am equally grateful for the amazing facility staff who keep the it sparkling and safe. Their high standards of cleanliness makes a huge difference.

There’s numerous things I like about the YMCA. First, there’s a variety of classes you can choose to suit your exercise needs and ability.
Secondly, the instructors are awesome and very knowledgeable about the body. Knowing and showing different ways to modify that fits your ability.
If you choose not to join classes, there’s a full gym with an option to sign up for personal training sessions.
The YMCA is that place for self-care.
