I LOVE everything about the "Village of Carver YMCA" such as:
*it's location - conveniently located....
*staff - attenders at the desk are extremely helpful...they even set registration YMCA platform on my cell phone in order for me to register......AND when I lost my membership card, they replaced it.....
*classes - I LOVE the line dance class...the class has created a special "line dance team" which we perform at various events...
^hula-hoop class- no where at any YMCA near me offers a hula-hoop/endurance exercise activities..I learned how to hula-hoop at 70 yrs. young.....
^special events - I "LOVE" the "flick & float" event and this is when we watch movies at special "holidays" in the swimming pool area..so unique and fun!!!
^water aerobics - I thoroughly enjoy exercising in the water which is harmless to joints and this Y has the BEST water aerobics instructors....
I have been a member of the YMCA since 2001 and have enjoyed and appreciate the availability of ALL of the YMCA's around the Atlanta area!!!!
I travel thirty minutes across town to Villages at Carver because I really enjoy the Saturday water aerobics class at noon. Linda is a friendly, excellent instructor who leads a great workout and the class participants also make it a lot of fun. The lifeguard is always helpful and courteous to the class as well, helping us wherever needed. Facilities are clean, although I will say this location has one of the smallest family/bathrooms I've seen in the area. But if I lived closer, I'd go to the Villages of Carver YMCA location more often if all of the classes are this good.
The facility and the staff are very nice.
Truly enjoy your very talented group exercise leaders. Thet are all in one - personal trainers & friends.
I love the fact that the YMCA is family oriented service-oriented and volunteer services throughout the community.
