A job well done to DJ and others who coordinated this “Splash” event yesterday 6/19/26. Thank you for all of your thoughtfulness, exquisite taste, and diligence for arranging this event. I let out a deep breath as I express that “We needed this.” It was amazing to see all of these beautiful children with smiles on their faces. They deserve it. I’ve been a member since 2006, and this may be the best event that I’ve attended, its only close rival being Trunk or Treat.
This event even inspired AJ to end his adamant protest against swim lessons so he can be free of being shackled with flotation devices and in the future can go swimming with the big kids.
I will be looking forward to participating in more events like this and I would even like to volunteer at some events in the future. And most importantly, we will be signing AJ up for swim lessons.
We need more events like this and more sports programs for our children at this location. i should not have to go to other locations to participate in their programs. I was going to cancel my membership at the end of this summer if it weren’t for the Splash event. i hope we have more events and programs to look forward too.

I only use the swimming pool for water aerobics. The pool is always warm.

Safias classes are the best! I go to multiple Y’s but her yoga and Pilates classes class are a step above!
Would love a steam room upgraded though! And a sauna addition!
I love the cleanliness and how well maintained all the equipment is. I also like how friendly the employees are. It just has a good and accepting vibe.

Clean and tidy facility to workout out in and the total body burn class I took was challenging and fun. Great sweat!

It offers something for every age group. It’s quiet and clean and the staff is helpful and friendly.
Only attend for the water activities pool, whirlpool etc.

I love the Saturday water aerobics class. Linda is awesome and it’s a great group!
I love the pool a LOT at the Villages Carver Family Y. The water is a bit cooler than at Ashford Dunwoody Y.
I love the weights at Ashford Dunwoody Y.

Very clean and the good Instructors
The Carver YMCA front desk staff are always energetic and welcoming! It seems that they truly enjoy working there. How staff interact begins at the highest-ranking position. Whatever the top does emanates downward. When staff exude such enthusiasm in every interaction, it speaks well of the management team. Happy workers are more engaging and invested, and the tone at the top makes all the difference. A happy environment is a place of refuge in present day cultural and political arenas. It draws people in and is contagious in the best possible way.
The staff is very caring
I've attended Zumba and other dance classes, appreciating the instructors and the class sizes. The walking track is a favorite of mine because it is very clean and rarely crowded. The staff are welcoming and supportive. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean, and I would gladly recommend this facility to a friend.
