The facility is well maintained the showers are always cleaned and overall the environment is welcoming. Also I attend the gentle yoga class with Lorraine she is a jewel to work with she is very aware of our limitations and she goes out of her way to accomodate
We have been members of the Carver YMCA family for years and our experience has been wonderful. The staff is very personable and professional. Most of all they are more than staff they are our extended family. As parents of a teenage son we don't have to be concerned about how he spends his leisure time. The YMCA is the first place he wants to go. He has developed friendships over the years that are invaluable. And most importantly we know he's safe and secure while on the premises. The facility is clean and orderly. The housekeeping staff works hard to keep things in order. It is a great place to workout and relax.
The environment is very clean, staff are helpful, location is excellent, my kids enjoy their swimming lesson and my daughter loves her after-school counselors. Plus we are thankful for scholarships available.

Pool is awesome. Kids Activity Center is perfect, please do NOT put a TV in there. I love the Activity Center staff, and they are very attentive and responsive to all 3 of my childrens' needs. I like that it feels kinda like a day care; everyone there is prepared to meet the need of my kids, aged 3mos - 6 yrs. I hope you don't make any drastic overhauls, because the staff are perfect & the play area is great for kiddos. I also really love the gym & aerobics center. I can't wait to become more of a regular and refer my friends.

I enjoy all the classes. The instructors are very good in what they teach. I get a great workout in every class.
I come to swim three days per week. I like getting there early so I can be assured of having a lane available.
However, it's beyond frustrating to come during stated open hours and find that the pool is closed because there is no lifeguard. It's been better since Kay took the week morning time slot, but last Saturday there was no lifeguard. I was told twice, by two different attendants at the front desk that the lifeguard was there and the pool was indeed open. The door from the locker room was locked, and the lights were out. I left at 8:25, 25 minutes after the pool was scheduled to open.
All this to say I enjoy swimming at the Y...when I can. I'd be hesitant to give a hearty recommendation to someone else without including a warning about pool hours not always being what is stated.

I enjoy the cleanliness of the facility, friendly staff, variety of classes and class times, scholarships for low-income and fixed income residents of the community, programs offered to youth/senior citizen members of the community and that it's a safe, positive place for youth in the community to learn, interact with each other and develop good social and life skills. Continue to offer membership scholarships based on household income for the community residents because the facility and programs adds positive value to their lives and families. After school care/programs that include a free meal/snack for the youth members K-19 would be outstanding for the community. Annual friends and family community block parties would be awesome as well sponsored by major and small businesses of the Atlanta/Fulton county community.

It was mostly the summer camp and after school coordinator efficiency and customer service. The summer camp staff at check-in and check-out was fine. I was not able to mingle with the remaining staff. My son did have one incident of a counselor trying to get his attention and called him out of his name and she laughed about it. He said, "it was not funny" and was not happy that she did that and did not apologize.

To Clea the men's locker room more often and to clean the pool floor and pool. The men's lockers also are in need of repair.
I have been a member for some time and my only concern relates to the hours of operation .It seems to me Fri, Sat & Sun should have extended hours. I am grateful
for the service provided.
