The beautiful facility and the staff
I love how clean the facility is overall. I have a family membership for myself, my daughter and my 2 grandchildren. I have my grandson registered in the karate classes. I love using the pool and the whirlpool. The customer service is great.
Staff is welcoming and friendly. Various modern equipment to use.
We would really appreciate returning the hours of operation to the times the Y has for decades been open.
Staying open till 10:00 pm on week nights and 6:00pm on weekends made it possible to get in from work, or church, eat dinner with the family, spend an hour with them, and still make it to the gym on a regular basis.
The other reason to return to the original hours is that the Carver Y is not brand new any more with few members. Now days, to try to find a parking spot at the busy hours has gotten very difficult with the tons of members and kids programs.
Incidentally, Ms Johnson, the new Front Desk and New Members Manager is the best person in that position we have had. She is actually interested, following thru on things, and getting things achieved. She is a favorite with all the members.
Also, to give some atta-boys to deserving acts, everyone really appreciated the new renovation and paint in the men's locker room. Thank you to who ever pushed that thru.

I love the Y it's friendly staff and clean facilities makes for a good workout.
The staff is courteous and professional. You feel individually welcome .
The branch is great but the headquarters treats our branch as second class. When we sign uo and meet challenges, our branch does not get the promised t-shirts. It appears they send to other branches first.

Not crowded and lots of machines available
Friendly staff as you enter the gym. The swimming area appears to be clean free from ants, like Eastlake. There were a few gnats, but not overwhelming to the point I did not want to leave my items on the side. I would like to see the steam room washed down periodically, but over all I really like this gym. I stay on the other side of town, Lithonia, but my child has a program in the area and it is perfect for me to workout during that time. Now I really would like to see the South Dekalb Y come back. But until then. Thanks.

In general they are great. The facility is not as fancy (modern looking) as others but staff great and make me feel welcome.

I like your programs and services that are specifically geared toward the "Seniors" in the Community. We always need outlets. You provide it for us. Thank you for the "Vegetables" too!!! :-)
