Zumba and all other classes
Great Senior Programs -- and a spirited, well-trained staff!
I can always find a class to take that I like. I just wished they had more water classes in the evenings during the week.
Welcome and not intimidating. Positive and encouraging. Good environment and clean
Great facility with excellent and encouraging health advisors and trainers and plenty of classes and programs for people at every age and strength levels. Well done!
Updated equipment, clean and well-maintained facility, great staff, wonderful child-care options
Women’s fitness classes.
I swim. You reserve lane 1 for ADA water aerobics and water jogging. This is perfect.
If you do not keep this lane for seniors like me, I will discontinue my Y participation.
a wide variety of classes available at the times that work for me.
The variety of programs that are available.
We like the variety of programs for our age group - seniors. We also appreciate the Y360 options.
Very nice facility and great teachers! I love the welcoming vibe when
I walk in. Everyone is so helpful!
Love the facility. It is so clean and bright. It has so much to offer.
Constant motion with all programs. Little standing around. Instructors are excellent and caring
The child care team is always amazing, I have a peace of mind getting a good workout in when my kids are under such good care. The facility is always clean and easy to navigate and there are plenty of areas to do free weights even when it's crowded.
Great amenities
Everything about the Cowart Y is fantastic. The staff, the brand new machines, the whole vibe is amazing. I wouldn’t dream of working out anywhere else!
The people and the instructor are all fantastic.
Fabulous instructors . Many classes and times
Nice variety of classes. Great instructors!
Love the variety of classes for late evenings
I like most the group activities (those with Miki and those for seniors: strength and yoga). To be in group is important for me because:
it helps me not to quit an exercise before the end of a session;
to socialize (it does not mean to spend my time in speaking with others, but the regular people start to have familiar faces and just to say hello to each other shows that each one matters;
the coaches are very respectful of each person in encouraging each one to improve, but also to be careful to own's body limits.
I just wish that, sometimes, the coach would explain the purpose of each exercise practiced. Nevertheless, I understand that this does not need to be done each time and it could have been done once in my absence.
I am glad that it is again possible to go swimming without being registered for a lap lane. I just try to choose a time when the swimming pool is almost empty.
I appreciate (even though I have only to start to go to them) the 'Lunch and Learn' for Seniors.
The staff members in the lobby are welcoming. It warm my heart to see them smiling to us whatever the day is.Thank you very much!
The facilities are great and everyone is pleasant. It’s a nice place to swim.
Quality and quantity of classes are very good
although not as much programming for seniors since the pandemic, still terrific classes with teachers who understand the differences between aging bodies and younger ones. Classes particularly designed for seniors and those with physical disabilities.
I love the variety and the family environment
The array of classes and how friendly and helpful the staff are.
Hatha Yoga and cycling/spin classes!
The variety and time choices.

Great variety and amazing staff!
