Wonderful
Diversity of the people served by this Y. Enjoy public spaces where visiting with one another is easy. Clean. Variety of programs.
Childcare
The staff is helpful and friendly!
I like the variety of programs for adults and kids, as well as the times that activities are offered
I just love the pool.
Good variety of classes
I love the new Yfit and high intensity classes. I have been a member for a year or more and recently started looking at other gyms for a more intense workout and more classes. I did CrossFit for a few years loved the classes but not the heavy weights and bars. I also did orange theory and really liked the workout but music was loud, room dark and would much rather interact with humans than workout to a TV. I am so happy the Y has started new total bony classes and has them on a regular basis. The instructors have been great too. Thank you
classes and facilities
Would like to see one more Zumba Gold class added - Saturday or Sunday. I like the variety of classes offered and the morning schedules. Also like the variety of instructors because each has an area she stresses.
Bright open windows for natural light for the weight room, upstairs class room for my fierce funk class with Aaron Gregory.
Keeps us energetic
Clean upstairs bathroom
Good people
I'm usually a visitor to the Buckhead Y, but I enjoy my visits to Dunwoody.
I am thankful you have provided new class options recently!
I mainly use the pool. Appreciate the friendly staff.
I like to be challenged! Keep classes coming!
The staff is great.
Steam room, whirlpool, friendly staff
Good instructors
I love Christina M’s water fitness classes enough to travel to this community y to follow her but I prefer the buckhead y. The main reason I don’t prefer the Cowart Y is the temperature of the pool is just a few degrees warmer than the buckhead y but it makes a huge differerence when you are working hard & have had hot flashes for over 23 years now after cancer & hysterectomy. I prefer water fitness classes because I badly injured my left shoulder & brok my left leg both bones, the left ankle bones & left foot bones so the pounding from running is nearly impossible on dry land but I can push myself much harder & longer with out having excessive swelling & pain after attending classes. But the Buckhead y is our home because of the closer location & they have the towel service there as well. It just seems like people wipe more when there is towels provided. Honestly though we have a huge water fitness class at the buckhead y & the best instructor ever is Christina M. She makes working out fun & actually enjoyable.
Water aerobics, Zumba gold.
Easy to schedule
I have only recently rejoined the YMCA so I have not gone beyond using the cardio machines and free weights.
Great pool
I enjoy the regularly scheduled classes for Senior Strengh and the ability to walk on the track anytime when outside is not conducive to a good walk.

I left LA Fitness to join the YMCA because of the classes offered early morning , 5:45am. The classes are great! I do wish/hope they offer more Y Fit M-F at 5:45am.
