Great programs for kids and seniors. Would love to see more classes/programs geared toward healthy 30-50 year olds. Also, new mother programs and postpartum fitness classes would be a great addition.
Pool was great and lifeguards were doing s great job keeping people safe
I’ve only been to East Lake once, but first impressions are great! I will be back.
Diversity of instructors, variety of classes, and personal fitness coaching options.
I love the fitness machines, pool, and the classes that are offered there. As an active older adult who works, volunteers, and attends school, it can be difficult to make time but worthwhile to attend the classes and activities that best fit my schedule.
I only need to walk.. so I can use the Y anytime one of my other two sources are not available or inconvenient.
Pools and classes
pickleball is great.
Katie R is amazing.
All of it
Organized and on time
very convenient and family friendly. Grateful they are supportive of working parents so the drop in days on school breaks are always nice
I love the variety of classes and the positive, supportive energy I feel when there.
Group exercises, weights and machines, pool
Very accessible and varied offerings. Instructors seem to really love their work.
I enjoy fun workouts and pleasant instructors and this Y provides that.
I "LOVE" several programs and activities that the Eadylake YMCA has to OFFER, such as;
* a variety of exercise classes for all...since I am a "senior citizen", there are certain classes that caters to my age group...my physical needs and capabilities.....
*"Coach Approach": which focus on strength training, endurance of various muscle groups...working with the "controlled weights" has enhanced total tone of the muscles....
*A.O.A.- Eastlake lake "Active Older Adults " - which is an organization that focus on the physical...mental...and social aspect of individuals who are 55 and older....
*LAST...but certainly not least...the "Outdoor Water Park - which members can enjoy a summer swim...adapter noon..or total relaxation at the outdoor water pool/park!!
The Y.M.C.A. continues to meet my "needs"...my "wants" on a daily basis...year after year!!! Extremely pleased and blessed🙏🙏🙏🙏

I like the pool
The programs are for the community.
I attend Water Aerobics - shallow. The teacher is MAGNIFICENT - the best classes I have had anywhere. And the members in the class and the staff on the desk are lovely.
I wonder what it takes to get another water aerobics class added - they are so hard to get into and ALWAYS full. I am sure that if the instructor offered classes 7 days per week, they would still all be full. What I am thinking of is a class on the same day - maybe 30 minutes after the current class, so people wouldn't be likely to take both. I know that there is a stretch class offered at 10 am, but it is for people with mobility issues, not people who want a good aerobic workout.
Thank you.
I like the availability of different types of spaces for working out.
I appreciate the gym time dedicated to pickleball.
The staff is very nice and facility
I really like the facility, is clean and well put. It would be nice if there was more equipments, especially the climb mill, which it's just one for the entire facility, leg press, and steps and things like that.
Pool is great
The pool is wonderful during hot days. The gym is convenient and clean. This location is great for my family. Thank you
They're great! The only thing I'd request would be a safety squat bar in the weight room: https://repfitness.com/products/safety-squat-bar?variant=Phone number removed7166
Diversity
They are tailored to all age groups and activities and classes that are popular,
Unlike those commercial big box fitness centers, this YMCA seems more friendlier and family oriented, if that's what you're looking for. Plus the diverse demographics of patrons and group programs and activities are extremely beneficial..

The out door pool is great. The kids love it!
