I love that you offer so many classes so many days and so many times
I am so GLAD that I joined this YMCA!!
My family and I love the YMCA! We have recently moved to the area and we even chose our rental based on the YMCA location;) we have been YMCA members in different locations for nearly 15 years now and your location, staff and activities offered are the best we had experienced! What we love: Friendly staff, awesome location next to the High school and the trail, plenty of classes for adults and kids, Youth in Motion with Steve is a favorite; not only it’s free for members drop in class but also Steve and his partner are awesome with kids and truly care... each time I am there to pick up my son at the end of the class I hear them talking words of praise and encouragement to each kid leaving!
My son also just finished a basketball league session and it was truly the best bball league experience he ever had and he has had a few.
Another thing that I love is that you are starting a teen after school drop in, where teens can do their homework and hang out... I think that is really good for our teens especially since the AHS is right next door!
As newcomers to the area our main concern was how our kids especially our teens would adopt to the new environment and make friends. We knew our kids would find activities to do at the YMCA especially basketball, but we didn’t expect them to make friends so quickly after our move. Your YMCA helped with that. Within the first week of being here our teen son already had company to play with and nowadays spends at least 3 hours daily playing basketball, exercising and hanging out with other teens who love basketball as well!
We also love the pool, the hot tub, the steam room and the sauna! We can’t wait for the outdoor pool to open again! My 9 year old loved the slide and being able to use the diving board!
Last but not least I personally also like the cleanliness of the facility, the little nice touches I see around the facility; the jar on the front entry with wise words of encouragement, the little sign outside the women’s dressing room about happiness and the opportunities for volunteering.
Not sure if there is room for suggestions here. but one thing I would suggest is creating volunteer opportunities for teens within the facility.

All your programs are reliable
I joined Y a year ago, and I see the difference both in my body and mind which I wanted over a year, it’s great to workout at Y, thanks to Y and team for support.
I like the variety of programs under one roof and also the well equipped facilities at the Alpharetta YMCA.
Heated pool and all the classes
It is a safe place and family recreation, where children and adults purden to share and enjoy without worrying, there is everything for all ages thanks for both YMCA.
I love the swimming exercise in the 1:00 PM Monday wed and fri classes!!!!! Been coming many years however the temp of the water has gotten cooler and I would like it a little warmer if possible Arthur and I would appreciate it!!!!
A good variety of exercise classes-especially now that some have been added after the group sessions. Some new equipment would make them even better!
The new weight and cardio machines are great.

Perfectly coached
I like the variety especially in Alpharetta's location because sometimes I have to use another ymca and they don't seem to have what the alpharetta location has. I love the more intense classes like boot camp, y45 and yfit! Please keep those classes they are great!!
I love the childcare! Both of my boys like to play there. It makes it much easier to workout when I know my kids are having fun and being well taken care of.
Very clean!! Enjoy the variety of different group classes and that I can go to all locations.
the variety of fitness classes/programs
Convenient access and parking, great new Cybex weight machine equipment, clean and well maintained, never so crowded that it's difficult to find the machine you want to use available, friendly staff, family atmosphere.
I like the wonderful instructors. However, I am still waiting for more classes geared to senior citizens. We need a stretching class for seniors.
I love elsa’s Monday class and the parents nights out. Please provide a space to do work/nurse/ read. A quiet area is needed!

Great exercise classes! Instructors really make them effective!
Love to come to Zumba and strengthen clases. Everyone is so nice and the classes or very good.
Also the staff are very good teachers.
