I love the various classes.
I use the Y for yoga more than anything else. The quality of the instructors - most instructors - is top notch. There are at least five classes each week during times I can attend with instructors I enjoy. A Y membership is a great investment. Also, when I had family in from out of town, I was able to get a guest pass for the entire week. What a wonderful perk!

Water aerobics is really good, Wednesday 10 a.m. class, great exercise for balance, posture, nice teacher and supportive class members. And one family member has a personal trainer for work on leg strength and balance. That has been great.

Decatur’s YMCA programs and activities are very well run. Staff members are courteous, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I enjoy Decatur’s YMCA
We really like the swimming lessons and that the scheduling allows for us to access a lot of activities all in one morning.
The staff are always friendly and very accommodating. The facility is clean and organized. I have never been a 'gym rat', but enjoy going there to work out.
They have a good variety of classes and activities. I look forward to trying more of them.

The Y has many great classes, lots of variety and excellent instructors. Members are diverse in age, race and abilities. There is a place where everyone feels accepted.

I love the Y! Love the classes and teachers. Love the clientele - no intimidating spandex or beautiful people here - just a diverse assortment of ordinary folks getting healthy. Although the classes I attend are VERY challenging, and I am quite fit.

This was my 1st visit to the Decatur location for my daughter's gymnastics/dance class. I was expressed with the facility and inviting feel from other members and staff.
I only use the pool, so that's all that I can comment on. One of the guards, Autumn, is excellent. She's friendly, professional and calm in a difficult situation. I saw her deal with a difficult member, and she couldn't have been more calm and professional.
I like that the pool is salt water and has the wall of windows that makes for a pleasant swim year round.
