I love the club. Some things that are a problem for me are not being able to get into the Pump classes, even if I am sitting on ready with my phone.
I was also disappointed in the introduction session with a trainer were not particularly thorough and I had to ask for the work out routine for several weeks. I also have never had any of the staff follow up to check my progress.

I like the staff. Very friendly and well informed. The coaches are the best. They have kept me coming back. Ruth is amazing and very patient.

There are a wide range of classes offered and I hope to take advantage of the pool soon.

The Y offers a good variety of classes and keeps the equipment in good order. There is something available for a wide variety of ages from teen to seniors.

Every YMCA, Decatur included, is a breath of fresh air if you have been going to other gyms in years past. Between the amazing classes, the gorgeous and well maintained pool, the sauna and the spectacular, warm and welcoming staff, YMCAs are more Spa that gym! I feel tremendously lucky to be able afford the membership and have it as an asset to my health and wellbeing.

I enjoy the Pilates with Lindsay and Yoga with Barbara classes. I love the convenience of the YMCA app for the class listings and class sign-up features.

It is very close to where I live, and a lot of fun!

I'm not from that part of town, I was only there once to get some exercise while my wife was attending to a family matter nearby. I didn't expect to return to this particular facility anytime soon so I did not investigate your programs and activities while I was there, sorry I can't give you any feedback on that but, knowing the YMCA, I'd bet your programs and activities are very good. I thought it seemed like a nice facility, plenty of exercise options, lots of good equipment, great parking. I did find the walking track hard to navigate, it seemed too narrow and steeply banked, plus the surface has a rubbery grabbing quality, all of which combined to occasionally cause me to slightly trip up a bit or scuff my feet. So my one tiny suggestion would be that the walking track could stand an upgrade--especially if people use it much--but otherwise the whole facility seemed impressive and well run.

The size of the children's play area is spacious with many activities.
