The Decatur Family YMCA exemplifies its name! There is something here for everyone to do there, which makes it feel like family! The programs and activities are diverse and reflect the community's needs for all ages. And the wellness programs reflect the latest trends in the industry for fitness and exercise. The instructors are also very nice and accommodating, which is always appreciated.

It's more the people than the programs for me
The facility has a lot to offer as far as programs and classes. The equipment seems good. When it's busy, it's hard to get on some of the machines. The trainers seem knowledgeable and helpful. It's a gym.
In particular the swim program for my 5 year old has been fantastic and we've only been in about 4 classes. She is enjoying it so much! And they coaches give great advice on practice.
I like the Y because it’s close to my home and very easy to access. The staff is very nice and helpful.
Everyone is friendly and helpful. When your new to a class the teacher makes a special effort to help you
