I am not a fan of reserving a spot in all the group exercise, but understand why it was done during Covid. I find it hard to remember to go online and reserve a spot, forget and/or don't get a spot, so most of the time I end up not going at all.
Good availability of the indoor pool for lap swim.

I am enrolled in the adult swim program and have had the best experience. The pool is beautiful and my teacher has been so helpful.
I love Marilyn's swim lessons. The women locker room is clean. The pool is warm and clean. After only six lessons I'm overcoming my fear of water and anxiety. I have learned the backstroke and treading in deep water.
I would like to have more exercise machines geared towards women, not just male and upper body.
There is a variety of options for children. We came to the Winter Wonderland event and joined soccer. In the summer, we come every couple of days for the outdoor pool.
Sally is the best! She is always so positive and supportive. The weight room and equipment are really nice. This is the best place to come and be healthy.
I think all of the instructors are very good and have such positive attitudes. I have enjoyed the other Y members in my classes. Nice people.
Love that the YMCA really embraces the family friendly environment. They offer events for the whole family to enjoy, camps and sports for kids, and swim lessons with a special emphasis on water safety. My kids love the outdoor pool and water park that is unique to Carl Sanders YMCA. My younger kids love the kids play area and I get to work out uninterrupted, knowing that they are safe and cared for within the facility. The staff truly cares about my kids, offering plenty of activities for them to enjoy. I can go to a class, I can go to a tennis clinic, or just do my own thing.
I have done home workouts in the past, but nothing beats coming to the Y. The facility is large and the community here is so friendly and welcoming. There is truly a place for everyone. I never feel intimidated or out of place here. Plus, the whole facility just got brand new equipment and a refresh on the free weights area that utilizes the space much more effectively. As a stay at home mom, I was hesitant to join due to the expense of a family membership, but it has truly been one of the best investments we've made as a family this year.
