I like the variety, the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. I plan to visit y’all at least 5 days a week until further notice. I will be focusing on yoga, Pilates, spinning, HIIT, swimming and functional weight lifting exercises.

From day 1, the Ymca has taken the pandemic very serious and had a thoroughly thought out plan on keeping staff and members safe. All of the work out rooms/training rooms were well thoughtout to give members maximum space to keep social distancing in check! Equipment and facility is always 100% cleaned and well taken care of. I always feel safe in the YMCA Carl Sanders location!!

I swim and like the lane reservation system. Don't like that some lanes are shared.
The outdoor pool and the indoor lap pool are the reasons we belong to the Sanders Y.
Our son has a wonderful time. The counselors create a fun environment where he feels safe and accepted. We are so grateful for all the staff there at the Carl Sanders Y.

Having safe access during Covid-19
I play tennis and the tennis pros are great! Ian is so helpful in terms of scheduling matches, staying late, and ensuring the courts are groomed prior to match play. He also takes notes on match play and provides great feedback to the captains to share. Joe B is excellent for clinics. Both Joe B and Ian offer warm-up before home matches.

The gym is clean, well spaced and has great equipment. Staff are friendly yet unintrusive.
I love the pool and lap swimming and thank you for opening the hot tub area! I have just started taking yoga classes and like that you offer a gentle/restorative class.
The Carl Sanders Y is my second home, particularly during the Covid pandemic. Their medical protocol is extremely thorough and the facility kept in a pristine manner.
In addition, the staff always greets members in a most polite and generous demeanor - everyone always with a genuine smile on their faces and warm, happy greeting.

I use the pool to swim laps. Cardio and machines to work out; and lately i've been going to Pilates and step aerobics.

The weight rooms, the pool and the staff, not necessarily in that order. :)
