Would like to have more group class options in the afternoon. Specially at 5:30 and more chances to get a pool lane. It's very challenging to book lanes and many times people don't show up.
I love the tennis clinics. Great pros. Small groups - lots of fun.
Outdoor yoga. I would like more outdoor classes. I'm not comfortable with indoor workouts in covid.
I don't participate in any of the programs and activities. I think you do a great job keeping the environment clean as possible for the covid protocols.
Have you considered rotating the cardio machines that have not been used since the facilities reopened? It seems to me that the machines that have been used during this period may need to rest and servicing while the ones that have been idle may need some use and movement.
The pool
I appreciate the diversity of offerings at the YMCA. I probably only play tennis there especially with the pandemic. Many thanks for all you do!!

I enjoy playing tennis and your excellent workout area. Although your summer and winter programs for children do not apply to me, I think they provide a wonderful environment for them to learn and socially interact.
Glad to see more group exercise classes have been added. I was especially concerned re: yoga, which seems to be back on track.
As well, an open locker room and seating area are important and I see those are now in place.
I hope to be able to continue with my membership.
We love the sports programs for children! My son snd all of his closest friends are members!
Friendly workers
Variety of programs, friendly staff, overall a very nice facility.
The response to COVID has been measured and reasonable. I feel ok working out in the free weight and aerobic areas at this point. The staff has been very friendly and helpful and politely enforced wearing of masks and other COVID prevention methods.
I would recommend, however, that the staff be re-encouraged and trained to be even more diligent (not more relaxed) on enforcing these measures now that US new infections are above 100,000/day. This includes cleaning of machines before and after each use, wearing masks between machines/stations (this includes "super setting"), and not allowing masks to be worn as chin straps. I have sensed members are getting more lax in all of these and need some polite reminding.
Overall, however, great job and yes I would recommend this Y highly to friends.
We only use cardio but love how friendly and helpful everyone is.
The gym is small, but well laid out and has everything I need
I don't currently participate in any programs or activities. I was in the Tai Chi class, but, alas, that was discontinued. I come to the Carl Sanders YMCA for my exercise workout three days a week.
I am impressed by what has been done to safely reopen the "Y" during the pandemic.
I feel so good about the Covid measures at the pool.
I love the space, equipment, and friendly staff.
I only wish you would adjust your COVID hours. Two hours to close and clean seems like a lot since every user of the equipment is cleaning before and after each use.
