Member Testimonials
The Y is a genuinely inclusive organization. It actually values people as they are, rather than presenting an airbrushed facade. It's about health and wellness, family and charity, not appearances and profit. I feel welcome at the Y: we play hoops and we're black, white, Latino, Asian - men and women able to come together on common ground with mutual respect for each other and love of the game. This diversity is what our country is about, and any organization that appeals to the Gospel ought to remember to proactively live this truth; the Y does, in my opinion, and should actively seek to do so even more.
Offers a variety of levels.
Cost, time, Ms Peggy
There is a large variety of classes for all age levels and fitness levels. The instructors are friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. All of the staff are very welcoming and are really happy to see everyone who comes into the facility.
Swimming lessons
We had a great summer doing Level 4 and 5 with Nick Edinger. Great new program levels too!
Low ratio, friendly and knowledgeable staff
Miss Peggy is a great teacher for younger kids who start out afraid of the water. She is very patient with their fears, but has many gentle ways to help them get over them.
I have been ill and scheduled for Surgery on Sept. 18.
Nice variety, esp for seniors. Two pools. Playground to bring the grandchild to 😊
Great variety of programs, classes, and opportunities for members. I LOVE your wide variety of community partnerships for youth.
My favorite is the track & workout area upstairs! And great job with Child Watch!
Ms. Joy and the ladies in childwatch are THE BEST! They so lovingly go above and beyond to teach the kids and I really trust and value them. I can exercise in peace with full confidence in the experience my kids are having.
Well equipped facility and staff
Everyone is welcome
I like the early and late aerobic type activities. I go in to work early and it’s nice to fit in a 5:30 class. Wish it was 5 am so I could take advantage of the whole class, but something is better than nothing
The variety of classes that you have. For example, I can go to Yoga one day, Aqua, Dancing and TaiChi.
I see my friends for workouts=group therapy 😁
I love having a safe place to relax in the sauna and new equipment to challenge my fitness goals. The trainers are great at programming the facility’s resources and are excited to keep you motivated!
They are free with membership, and all the employees are friendly and welcoming.
So many different class options. The Instructors are all wonderful and they pride themselves on remembering your name and making everyone feel so welcome. Even the members are friendly and welcoming. The facility is extremely clean as well. Best gym in Town. I can’t say enough — except THANK YOU!
Person in charge of adult programs need to have input from present adult programs leaders so that interesting Timely programs can be attended when offered!!
There are so many to choose from!
I love the friendliness of the community, the Combat classes (would like even more in the evening - say Wednesday evening, Sunday afternoon), the pools.

I like the variety of people and friendliness. There aren't skinny women strutting and showing off their bodies.
