Outdoor swimming laps
I am new to this location. Everyone is blurry helpful and attentive. I only use the weight machines and they are perfect for my needs.

The facility has what I need, weights, sauna, punching bag, swimming, etc. I would have gave a 10 but u stopped serving coffee on weekends.
I like Gary Reed the trainer. He is fantastic. You guys might want to re-brand him as a trainer for older people (like me). He is outstanding! He doesn't go to quickly or too slowly. His ability to adapt to your needs and goals is unsurpassed. I've made tremendous progress since working with him!
I really enjoy the fact that they help everyone young and old and everybody in between. I also enjoy the fact that the staff is very friendly and helpful and they treat you like family.
You have a variety of classes for the seniors. Also, it’s clean and feel sa.fe. The staff and instructors are friendly and courteous.

I love Zumba, the yoga classes, the pools, Senior Fitness, and other group classes, like barrre, and pilates. It would be nice to have a body pump class geared towards older adults.
Older women need more weight training class opportunities.
All the employees and volunteers are very nice, helpful, and cheerful.
People are very friendly and there is a real feeling of community at my Southwest Austin YMCA.

I especially like all the different levels of Yoga classes. That way I can take those that fit my needs.
I wish that the Wednesday Pilatis class was an hour, not 45 minutes as we can't cover everything that we need.
YMCA basketball has been great for my kids and me. I love the vibe as too many leagues start too soon about winning and seem to attract coaches that are all about the score instead of the kid. I would recommend just keep doing what you are doing. Just seeing kids out there, especially those that may not be as skillful out there trying is beautiful to see and gives them confidence about finding their thing, whatever it ends up being, basketball or otherwise. I've been a coach for 4 years and my memories of that and the kids I've coached will stay with me forever. Very rewarding experience for me, thank you for what you do.
