North Austin Y is clean, has great equipment, the best indoor pool in Austin....and the staff are friendly and professional!
There is a variety of activities. The swimming pools are clean. The staff is friendly and polite. The location is close to my house.
I would love for the North YMCA to add more class room classes for active older adults. I enjoy all of the aqua classes available now. The staff at the North Y is super friendly and always makes me feel welcome. I couldn't have made it through the COVID quarantine without the Y! Thank you.
I like the ZUMBA group fitness, the indoor pool and weight room. I noticed the pc’s which I haven’t used but that a great resource too.
I only go to swim. The guards are friendly, and the folks who check you in are nice and friendly.

Safe and comfortable building - warm in winter, cool in summer. Strong internet server. Fantastic coaching staff. One of the nicest swimming pool facilities in Austin. Adequate parking. Sponsored community garden. Very reasonable rates for membership.
Love your staff. Classes that I take are very enjoyable and as I sunburn easily and swim year round, I love the indoor pool. Seems that this Y is in demand, because it's becoming more difficult to get swim slots these days...but I think that's because you pay close attention to cleanliness and it's such a nice facility.
I mainly use the pool. I like the way it’s set up for Covid where only 1 at a time can use the lane. It feels safe to be there. I had swimming lessons here as well and I’d definitely recommend that.
I love the YMCA and all of the classes that y'all offer. The staff is friendly and the place is clean.

The people, I'll be so glad when we can fully open and have large classes again inside on the floor, I love my water classes.
I love the pool -I have always been a water baby at heart and I try to get in three 45 minutes sessions each week. I also really appreciate the variety of on demand video classes. Sometimes I am in the mood for yoga, sometimes pilates or core, and sometimes the active older adult cardio and weight lifting.
I look forward to the days the Y can resume more activities in person-I miss everyone's smiling faces and our shared sighs of agony as we attempt to go where we haven't gone before in exercising together!
Close by my home, convenient times, wonderful instructors and very helpful support staff.
I particularly enjoy the variety in types of activities and the various ways one can experience those activities- online or in the building.

They are well designed and available to many people.
All the amenities, although it is limited I still enjoy going to the gym. Having the facility fully staffed and periodically cleaning the machines is awesome!

I don’t go to North so I can’t answer the question.
I regularly attend the Aqua Aerobics class on Mondays and Fridays and the Yoga Flow class with Elaina on Thursdays. I use the machines upstairs on Tuesdays.
The entire staff at the YMCA is welcoming and friendly and helpful.
The yoga class instructor is prompt and an excellent teacher. She demonstrates, reinforces, and challenges us. I appreciate Matt and Sam who are always willing to demonstrate and explain the use of a machine.
I appreciate the use of the lane next to the instructional pool during water aerobics.
Some of us prefer the deeper and cooler water. It provides more of a challenge as I can move more and add extra exercises to the usual routine.
