Cleaned , pool cleaned and nice
So far, I very much like the Aqua Cardio class, walking in the pool with lanes, the hot tub, the EFX machines, and treadmill. Ladies room is very clean. And the teacher for the Aqua Cardio class is excellent!
We love the YMCA. We’ve had coach Wiggins volunteer for my child’s team and it has been so wonderful.
The indoor pool and hot tub. Especially how it’s more separated from the kids swim lessons.
Our daughter was very engaged in the activities and exercises presented by her instructor. We felt more confident in her swimming abilities after each class. She enjoyed learning and always looked forward to getting in the water.
Accessible times, reasonable price, year round availability for swimming lessons.

We loved Coach V! He is awesome with the kids and my son really enjoyed playing this season. It seemed like the summer season was more organized than the Spring season, and all the games started on time.

Friendly staff at door. Clean exercise equipment and bathroom. Great group classes. Have not tried the pool though.
We have our 3 year old taking swimming classes this summer. Staff and instructors have been very helpful and supportive. From the very first minute, we knew that our son was going to be in good hands and will learn a lot. Four weeks later our son is very comfortable in the pool and is on his way to be a good swimmer.

Great staff and pool program
The front staff make it so easy to register for the right class that fits your child’s needs. They have an array of classes for all ages at a reasonable price. The instructors are amazing as well!
This location is right-sized. Enough equipment and programs to meet interest.

I love the variety of the heated, shallow pool combined with easy access to hot tub and lap pool. I’d like to see a little more air circulation I pool area. Women’s locker room is great but the floors are often very slick and I have seen numerous women almost fall because floor surface is slippery. There is always a fan blowing to reduce this issue, and it may never be able to be rectified due to the close proximity to the pools. I do, however, enjoy my aquatics at North YMCA.
I enjoy the recumbent bike and the swimming pool.
I love the classes and the gym upstairs! I also love that you now offer child care for different age groups.
I really like the north YMCA. Dillon does a great job at placing kids in the correct class and making sure they are challenged. The June instructor was awesome too. I was so disappointed with a situation at east ymca that they combined my daughter with the level 1 swimmers- which I understand combining if there isn’t enough kids. But she was stuck the entire time on the pool steps “learning” to blow bubbles and being told not to poop in the pool- wayyyyyy below her skill level and age. North YMCA placed her appropriately and challenged her. I also like that they send a welcome letter the day before classes start to remind you of the class and rules- East should really do this too, you have to apply so far ahead of time to get a spot- it’s easy to forget by the time classes start- also it’s just welcoming…. And the east ymca are great communicators when classes are canceled and when make-up classes will be. Definitely like north’s program the best. About to do one more month at east because we had already signed up for it but we’ll probably only do North’s in the future.
