Friendly, welcoming studio. Small but well-equipped with two practice rooms and locker room (free locks at desk) and nice showers. Teacher was helpful, class was well structured and on time. Great studio.

It has changed my physical fitness experience. Before Core Power, I lifted heavy weights and was a bit bulky. Injuries made me not able to lift the way I used to and I had very little physical fitness going on. My wife attended CP classes for a year and finally got me a membership for Christmas. At first I was reluctant and didn't take advantage of the programs. Around early/mid Feb I decided to attend some yoga classes. I enjoyed it and eventually tried a sculpt class and Strength X class. I loved the weight based classes and have now made it a big part of my weekly schedule. I have instructors I like to work with and there are tons of classes available to choose from. As a male, I feel awkward in class (my own perception) because it a female dominant environment. The instructors however are very welcoming and stress messages that are inclusive and inviting. They have enables me to have fitness be a focus in my life again. Now, I try to get to classes 6 days a week.
I'm up for a total knee in a week and in discussion with my doctor, I asked if I could run (being a ref) and do sports activities that I liked to do. He said it is not recommended, but he said yoga and sculpt classes shouldn't be a problem. I'm ok with that prognosis because I've enjoyed the classes (C2, Strength X and Sculpt) and sense of community at CP that I feel. I'll see you tonight at class.
I love this studio. The only downside is the small women's locker room, and parking can be tough sometimes, but the teachers & community are amazing!

The studio, the staff and the instructor (Brooke) were very welcoming. I had a lovely practice.
The instructors create a chill vibe at he Encinitas location. I’ve recently gotten into HPF and CSX-glutes/core (great if you don’t have time for a 60 minute sculpt class). Both Ellie and Cristen are excellent teachers of these classes, respectively.
I loved the class experience! The location was perfect and the teacher’s energy was too. I was able to shower comfortably afterwards. Would go back!

I felt very welcomed on my visit. The workout was much harder than I anticipated. I had to take a break. Next time, I am back in town, I will be back to power through the entire session.

I liked that there was flexibility and understanding from the instructor.... everyone was encouraged to practice and move and challenge themselves not compete with others... it made for a brave and safe space.
I appreciated the instructor moving around the room and supporting individuals so they werent straining or hurting themselves, without encroaching on personal space.
It was an amazing experience!!
I definitely want to come back again with my husband. It is a little beyond our budget at the moment so it will be a special treat of a single class sometime soon! 😁
