My son is learning sooooo much!!! Not only content, but tips and tricks on how to improve his reading and writing. He uses these strategies (such as underlining a word he doesn’t know and coming back to it at the end to practice) when we do homework together! He also enjoys going and never complains!
ACT tutoring at Huntington learning center in West Chester helped my son get close to his target score. He was able to increase his score by 6 points from 27 to 33. Prior to Huntington, my son had taken group classes but that did not help him in any way. The one on one tutoring did the trick. I am extremely happy with the Huntington center in West Chester and would highly recommend them.
Flexible and friendly tutors
Brad (my son’s tutor) has been a TREMENDOUS ASSET to my son, he is knowledgeable, easy to work with, flexible on meeting times, and he has helped my son bring his grades up in precalc and physics every semester!

We just recently started at Huntington Learning Center in Apopka, FL. The instant change I saw in my son is amazing. He loves going, never puts up a fight, as before he hated school, fought to do his homework nightly. Mr. Green actually came to a parent teacher conference with me, and will continue to stay in contact with the teacher regarding my son and the lessons they will be doing in class. This way Huntington can incorporate what he will be learning in class along with what he needs help with! Karen welcomed us with open arms from the time we stepped foot inside and the center has made us feel like family and they truly care about my son’s improvement! I cannot thank them enough!!
Personalized, highly flexible as opposed to rigid, thorough and widely encompassing.
My son had a week foundation in reading. Huntington assessed his weakness and strength academically and customized a program that was just for him. We were told how many hours it would need to improve, and there were monthly one on one meetings between parents and the principal to talk about my son’s progress. It was very helpful for him to come to huntington and now he loves reading and has an easier time in learning at school.
Our son has become more confident in his academics and he is definitely picking up skills that he hasn’t at school.

The staff are always very warm and accommodating to our needs. We have recently been having more than usual adjustments in schedule and the staff, directors, and tutors are always there to meet our requests. Everyone seems to be very dedicated to what they do and my daughter looks forward to go to Huntington each time.

This center is not a one size fits all program. They conduct a very extensive evaluation to determine what is the best customized plan for your child. Initially we were a bit unsure how or if this center was going to help our daughter. We are so happy that we chose Huntington Learning Center. From the beginning it was “let’s get to work” attitude and so far we have seen improvement in being able to conquer those roadblocks. I can’t praise the staff enough on how they take such an interest on making sure our child is successful. We have monthly updates but if we need to discuss any concerns the staff is always available and such flexibility in being able to set that time up. I recommend anyone that has a child struggling and facing challenges in their education journey to inquire if Huntington is the right fit for them.
It works. Explanation by tutor is superior to school classroom. My student didn’t think she could ever understand math until her time at Huntington.
