My son has a speech delay and Ms.Rebecca helped my son read. At first he was barely reading. He is now reading with little help. He can sound all words out now. I’m so happy with his progress. He asks me everyday to go to Hunington. I highly recommend Hunington. All of the staff are very nice and welcoming. Ms.Jill, Mr.John and Mr. Tom. Thanks for your help and commitment.

We had a great experience with Huntington. My daughter was in the first grade and had no interest in reading. I got ahead of her potentially falling behind in her class and took her Huntington and they came up with an organized plan to ensure that she was reading at her grade level. It consisted of letter identification, noun/verb recognition, reading comprehension and much more. Now she can read book at her grade level on her own whether she is interested or not. I can rest assured that she will not fall behind on any reading assignments. In fact, her first grade teacher and piano instructor noticed and commented on the improvement. I would recommend Huntington to any parent with concerns about their child’s reading ability.

Huntington Learning Center staff and instructors are very thorough and knowledgeable about what they are dealing with! My 5 year old daughter absolutely loves it the entire curriculum. It is definitely a boost pack alongside what she is learning at school. Highly recommend if anyone would like to get that extra mileage in learning!

The reasons why parents usually visit the academy were similar, but I visited Huntington for a slightly different reason.
My family lives in the United States, and I was worried about my son, who hates English.
First of all, my son had a hard time adjusting to school for a while because of Korean culture and other American cultures.
However, after counseling, the director of Huntington thought differently. Calmly showed me the truth and the sincerity to understand my son. To me, who was worried, the director asked me confidently and trust my son because my son has a good personality and attitude.
After that, the director gave me an accurate analysis of my son's English grades and explained in detail to me that I could achieve specific methods and clear goals.
Also, the director confirmed that he would make my son's English grades within 3 months, which is the average of American 4th grades.
Actually, I thought it would be impossible because I was desperate.
But the next day, I solved my question. My son went to an English academy on his own, so he said that it was not difficult to study English with the teacher in a stress-free environment.
Also, as my son gained confidence in his English, my son adapted well with a positive attitude at school and had a lot of friends, so he had a good time at school.
Of course, my son's English study has improved a lot since he attended the academy for five months, so I was surprised how much the teacher in charge of the school praised me to my son. I was so crying a lot how happy I was with my husband that day because he even received the Best Friend Award that his friends and classmates vote for.
As a result, our son successfully finished the school year well.
When I write this article, I express my gratitude once again to the director and teachers for their hard work.

There was a clear difference in operation when the director was in the academy and when he was not.
In particular, I was a little disappointed about the conversation of the schedule while the director was on vacation.
Still, I was grateful that the teachers coordinated the schedule with me even though time went by.
Furthermore, I sincerely respect the director for his dedication to the operation of the academy without any vacation for 7 years.

I see the difference Huntington made in my son’s school achievements. Also, this summer my son didn’t have to come ( he was struggling with writing in the past but this year he did well in school). He wanted to come because he felt that HC will help him to do even better next year.
Ms Cristina and Ms Beth are amazing at what they do. They hire quality tutors that connect with their students. My girls look forward to seeing all of them and are sad that their weekly sessions will be ending soon. Working with them has been smooth, stress free, and reassuring.

We came to Hunnington Learning Center to get our 8 year old back on track. She had fallen behind significantly. We had tried everything and nothing was clicking! It’s tough when you work full time in addition to making time to help your kid with their homework… but my efforts were only making things worse between me and my kid. I knew that as much as I wanted to help her myself.. God was leading elsewhere.
After a few months at Hunnington, not only her grades improved… but her attitude and disposition toward doing homework changed. She responded immediately when I said it was homework time and she actually looked like she wanted to do it!!!! She began to know the answer before I stepped in to help.
We are thankful!! My kid and her education are the most important things in my life.

I liked that it was tailored to my son’s educational needs.
The one on one approach is definitely the best. HLC’s also has a targeted approach based on weaknesses shown on previous A CTs or practice ACTs. It’s not cheap but it’s one on one with an expert in the subject matter.
I wish they held the student more accountable on their online practice but that’s equally the responsibility of the student. Like everything else, it only works if the student is motivated and willing to put in the effort to improve.
Our daughter had great success and we are waiting on an improved score for our son. We are confident his score will raise as they claim will occur if you do the full class.
I recommend this program whole-heartily!
