My regular cleaner, Alex, is a model worker. Her work ethic is strong. She is a positive, friendly person. Alex takes a brief amount of time to go over the work plan with me and engage in a brief friendly exchange. She transitions smoothly and quickly to the work at hand. She is focused and determined to do her best. I have read about the Japanese work ethic. In Japan they believe every job is important--even cleaning jobs. I know whatever the future holds for Alex, she will be a success because of her exceptional work ethic and positive manner with people.

One of Alex's partners, Sam, I believe her name is, hardly compares. While Sam was polite and asked questions if she was uncertain about her task, she actually was taking advantage of Alex by failing to listen carefully and take responsibility for her own share of the work plan. Alex basically did most of the cleaning, while Sam watched.

In future, Merry Maids may just want to send Alex to clean.

Only concern I have is the lemon scented cleaner used in the kitchen. No scents please!

I like to have reliable, trustworthy cleaner in my home. I have friends whose cleaners have stolen valuables; others who don’t show due to illness or other family issues. I prefer Merry Maids because I can count on them.

They do a pretty good job and are always pleasant. The only problem is that we keep having a different crew and have to show them where to plug in the vacuum.

Friendly crew - worker bees! How was spic and span clean when they were done. Hasn’t looked this good since we moved in to it brand new. Products worked well and made the house smell great!
