The staff is friendly and helpful. I’m glad the 30 minute express workout is no longer taking up a large amount of space and there’s now a separate area for stretching, weights, and other exercises. I like how comfortable and unpretentious planet fitness is.

Why do some plant fitness facilities have different exercise equipment than the rest? The commercials show some different workout equipment.

I have been a member with Planet Fitness for over a decade and I love that I can go to any center. The price is unbeatable. Recently they upgraded the Tyler facility and I adore the changes. Keep it up Planet!!!!
Out of the three locations I visit (Smithfield, Wilson, Rocky Mount) this is my #1 pick. Friendly staff! Clean facility. I know this may seem silly but I also like how the equipment is arranged.
Good equipment and layout. Well kept and friendly weekday AM staff. Wish some members would learn to pick up after themselves and put equipment back where it goes - like mats, dumbbells and plates. Also, wipe down equipment when they’re done!

The convenience of the location is great. Followed by the friendly staff. The only thing I'd change would be the amount of time allotted for the massage chairs. It would be nice to have 20 minutes rather than 10. The relaxing experience be just getting started by the time it's over.

I love Planet Fitness! This is the first time I can say I’m actually excited about my workout the night before. I’ve never been a fitness fanatic, so this is a new experience for me to love going to the gym! I never want to even miss a day!

The variety of machines has helped a lot, especially the Full Body Circuit. Every day I have my favorite machines I want to use but if I’m maybe not feeling like a custom workout routine, I just jump on the one that PF already designed.
I find myself planning my routine the night before usually, but when I don’t get to it, I can just jump on the Faithful 6, throw in the cardio of my choice and I have a great workout.
I’ve started getting up earlier and earlier so I can make sure I get my tanning in, also. Everyone is probably different, but I prefer to tan first, it seems like my energy levels are higher when I do.
I’ve only done the massage chairs a few times, but honestly, the membership would be worth it if you only popped in for a 10 minute massage every day,
I feel like I get way above and beyond my money’s worth with PF. I think the color branding also helps. I enjoy the consistency of everything. It really makes it feel like anyone can come in and be a part of, not just athletes or workout buffs.
Overall, I’m super glad I joined. I wasn’t excited when PF first came to town, but It’s been a game changer for me in every way!!!

The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The gym is incredibly clean. The atmosphere is open and accepting to all people. All of the above are consistently present.
Love working out there most of the time although they are a bit stingy with the air conditioning. It would be more tolerable in a cooler environment.
