Thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly! Highland is my go-to provider for Home Inspections! Another great inspection done, and a great benefit to my home-buying client!
Highland Home Inspections came highly recommended by experienced agents in my office, and I now know why! Inspector Mike Burns met us outside the home on time and was ready to work. My client was a first-time home buyer, and Mike made sure to explain the report, documentation, and photos of any items needing attention. He invited the buyer to walk around and ask questions about any of the systems, and was careful to explain how those and the appliances worked, as well as how to keep them in working condition.
We stopped our inspection early at the buyer's request. This particular home required extensive work, indicating a pattern of deferred maintenance, and the buyer exercised his right to void the contract.
As a seasoned real estate agent, Mike and Highland are exactly who I need to fill in as my new preferred inspectors since the retirement of my former inspector had me searching for that perfect buyer inspection advocate. When asked, this client has instructed me to contact Highland for his next home inspection. I will be referring Mike Burns to other agents and my clients as well. Name removed
