I reached out to Sylvan (online) in Pearland due to reading concerns for my son. I received a call back the next day. Ms. Crystal answered all of my questions over the phone and scheduled a time for me to come into the office. Once in the office the program was explained to me further and my son was given an assessment. My son took an assessment in reading, writing as well as math to gain insight on his current levels and skills knowledge. I was pleasantly surprised by how in depth the information was that we received from the assessment. Ms. Jaclyn thoroughly explained the assessments to me as well as the individual program recommended for my son. There was no pressure. I signed my son up for reading and he started the next day. I have remained informed through scheduled conferences to discuss his progress. My son told me he loves going to Sylvan and likes the teachers there. His teachers at school have reported they are already seeing a difference including my son's confidence growing. He is motivated by the points system they have and has earned prizes. We look forward to watching him continue to grow as he has already made great strides. My sons writing scores were on track and his math above grade level. We are considering putting him in math classes with Sylvan to continue his edge. My son has been going to Sylvan in Pearland a little over a month. We feel like this was a great decision!
I signed my daughter up with a program that Sylvan center offers in order to improve her math skills. Not only that she gets a one-to-one attention and explanation but she gets more confident every time.The program director, Caroline Phillips, helped me choose the right program and explained all questions I had. The teachers are friendly and not rushing through the material. I would recommend the Sylvan center in Kingwood and Humble.

I like the small group setting, so he gets more specialized attention. There is a program set out for him and they keep working on the ones he needs until he understands it completely. It is a place that he feels comfortable coming to and he likes working with the different teachers. I feel like he is finding a sense of confidence that he didn't have before.
Testing shows strengths and weaknesses and the center designs a program based on these. There is frequent communication with parents on student's progress.
I love the services which we receive from Sylvan's Learning Center in Harker Heights because of the personal attention the student and family gets. Most of all, the confidence the student obtain, which increases their self esteem and grades....
I highly recommend their services,, as a child education is the foundation for for their future.

My son has made tremendous progress from the skills he learned at Sylvan Learning Center Cypress. He acquired reading skills from Kindergarten all the way to his current Fourth Grade level. As a previous Sylvan Student myself and a overjoyed parent, I highly recommend Sylvan!

My grandson attended summer classes. He was so behind in comparison to his classmates. His attitude was unforeseeable. No child like going to summer school. He enjoyed attending classes and his instructors. He would talk excitedly about things he learn and achieved that day. He is looking forward to school this year with a added confidents. It has been amazing the transformation Sylvan has made in him. Sylvan made that connection with him and gave him a love to learn.

Your Killeen team is awesome - among the best!!! I'm terrible at keeping appointments, which doesn't make the director's job easy, and yet they always have a warm smile and kind words. I love the timely care calls and helpful advice they offer. Most importantly, Elisa's ACT scores increased and we are on the right track to see them increase further.
