The staff really know what they are doing! They do an excellent job of identifying gaps in knowledge and working on those. They aren't just blasting thru chapters and scratching lessons off a list. The manager is superb, extremely capable, and pleasant. A combo that you rarely see; nowadays. My nephew failed the 3rd grade. I am confident that Sylvan Harker Heights will get my nephew back with his class!

My son was getting behind on his reading. I met with Sylvan, they did an in-depth assessment and gave me a solid proposal on how we can get to the desired level. I was provided with a few options, Sylvan was very flexible in helping us.
My son started attending the tutoring as we discussed. Sylvan set up milestone conversations for us to review. Within the first month of attendance my son showed dramatic improvement. The best part is that he enjoys going. We don’t have to struggle to go and that’s a win for me!!! Such an amazing staff and environment!!

My 6 year old applies his Sylvan lessons to many real-world applications. He is much more confident in his reading. He enjoys his lessons there. They are very easy and flexible with scheduling, which is great because our schedule is chaotic.

My son was struggling in Reading and ELA, I was told about Sylvan by a very close friend. I gave it some thought and decided to go and check it out. Soon after I enrolled my son into Sylvan. Within three weeks of attending, his teacher's told me that they were seeing some improvement in his classwork. I will continue to have my son attend Sylvan because it has given him hope and promise in his education.

Our experience was wonderful! My two kids enjoyed the testing itself, and the atmosphere at the center. The employees were wonderful and made sure all of our questions were answered!

My child immediately started discussing her work something she had stopped doing. We are still in the beginning phase so we have had no results yet but i do appreciate the individual attention she receives.
I wanted very badly for my son to attend sylvan learning center but it was just out of my price range. Ms. Rose got permission to begin a pilot program for lower income families and my son would the 1st to attend. I am so incredibly grateful to her and everyone else at Sylvan Kingwood for their dedication to helping my son. We are currently attending 2 hours a week and my son looks forward to his time there every week

My daughter has been doing good with reading thanks to Sylvian and is working toward the same goal in math.
My kids went from being happy with low C’s, D’s and F’s, who are now six weeks to two months later, earning AB honor roll. They are students who look forward to going to Sylvan at every opportunity. Progress reports are outstanding, improved attitude shift is present, analytical thought and emotional maturity improved. We’re an all around happy family with our Sylvan experience.
